- Updated the site to be more friendly in the ui department. I'm gonna be taking a back seat in terms of updating the site since I wanna focus on my hobbies and improving. I felt the site was a bit directionless since I haven't been on in a few, so I thought a to-do list would help a bit in those dry seasons.

- I think the exhaustion is lowkey hitting. Imma keep pushing tho but mainly juat gonna be resting and enjoying media till I get my goals done. It's hard but I'm trying.

- I tried getting back into Sonic Adventure 2 so I can prepare for my chao shrine. Honestly, I think I hate SA2 lol. The chao is the only good part about that game. The game is playable is the best way I can put it. It especially annoys me because for some old heads this is peak. I tried to understand where people are coming from, but I don't. I think some peoples game design sensibilites are genueinly so stunted. How are you 30+ and still saying new games in general will never compare to the old stuff, when THIS is the stuff that yall say are your faves without fail every single time lol.

- All that too say I am dropping that chao shrine lol. My next shrine will be a minecraft one because I've been killing it in my current forever multiplayer world. I want to do a MTV style cribs video. Could be hella fun.

- Also inzoi is coming out soon omfg. I saw the trailers and I was highkey impressed. I personally have no alligance to any specific life sim (and currently the only one) so when I saw that you can use wasd, the tons of interaction, the sheer amount of customization I kinda was feeling it. The only thing I'm not feeling is the use of AI prompts to make items. I really wanna know what data they are using, but if it's actually their own data they made or bought then I got no problem at awl. Anyways can't wait fr this to drop alreadyyy.

- I posted this stuff before at like 12 am but now I'm back and it's 8 pm. Two things Ena dream BBQ was rlly good! Second I bought MK1 Khaos Reign. I watch a lot of LostyGirl who is a milenna main and lowkey MK fans kinda had me jealous with how much they were having fun. So imma main t1000, ghost face, maybe a few base roster characters. can't wait!

- My next goal for this site, is creating a webring :D. I taled about this before but I rlly want to create a Virtua Fighter Webring. So that will possibly be in the next update.

- Hi hi been a few days . Taking incremental breaks while I continue to finish up the site. I also gotta move soon so, as you can imagine got real shit going on.

- On another note I finally added my gooner cave. I know it disappoints the general population to hear that I goon and bate and pop(per) :( . Naw but fr I'm glad to finally have that over with. Being an NSFW artist is another hobby of mine, I'm not sure the general stance on porn artists having neocities considering the awful (and fair) reputation of NSFW artists. Honestly most NSFW/Furry or furry adjacent communities just suck, cut and dry point blank periodt. If you've ever been apart of one that actually has some activity and also accompanies a cult like discord, it's just a lot of bull bull, mental illness, racism, 4chan fuckery, shota/loli defense squads, and unneccessary drama from both niche artists and popu ones. This is part of why I started this blog, to keep my own mental illnesses in my own lil space on the internet away from other mentally ill people who can be antagonistic and territorial (or just rlly annoying tbh) over shit that nobody irl has to deal with. Social media is a hell of a drug lol. I try and cope with that by making a curated blog where I can do whatever the fuck I want, and even pick up and move if needed. (if we ever lose neocities god forbid)

- despite my own percieved notions and bias from my own experiences, I hope to have a good reputation among the neocommuntiy and I hope I am welcomed and given a fair shake as I continue to update this site for years to come in the future. I don't want no shit, I don't want their to be no shit or a fan. With the interactions I have had though and the couple of neoneighbors I made I feel like things will be just fine. Honestly one of the most welcoming and helpful communities. The fact I am slaying html with no problem at all is a sign of a good community with a good social foundation. I have seen hits and bits of issues like with sad.girl leaving but I wasn't there and cannot speak for other people. I just wanna acknowledge that while I feel hummanity is way more encouraged on here then other communtiy, there will always be fandom issues. I just think it's actually more bearable here as a creative and I can only speak for myself.

- Besides that as for goals, as mentioned before I neeeeed to add that chao garden shrine so I can make a new chao garden and actually memorialize them and treat them like my long time babies. Another thing I wanna add is a simple heart system to my gallery. This was harder then I anticipated so I'm saving that down the line probs once I finish the entire site. I like the idea of limited interactions on my site, so I feel a heart button is better for people who don't wanna write a 50 page essay in my guestbook about how I made their 50th goon sesh worth while. but you can also do that lmfao. I think this is healthy for my brain. No worrying about popu bull bull, working harder for engagement, or notification fomo. It's at everyones own pace and there's no comment section so in my head I feel that is way detached from predatory social media retention farming.

- Happy belated miku day, I can't believe I missed it. I should make themes that I change depending on anniversarys. We shall see. Anyways rn I'm just focusing on getting through my covers. I have one that is complete it just needs a thumbnail. The silvagunner cover taking pretty quick at least gives me some time to work on that, I'm trying to stay consistent with posting covers. I'd like to see where it gets me. If I do get burned out, then I have other parts of the site I'd like to focus on as well. Anyways yall have a good miku day/week!

- Took a lil break from coding, I'm back and doing a bit better. Next step is to add my SA2 CHAO Shrine because I really love pet based games. I still gotta show off my shimeijis so maybe I'll do that next time.

- Lowkey been feeling super anxious tonight. I think that being on youtube for too long does that to a bitch. I think I got a lot on my doubts on my mind. Besides that I can't wait to go out this weekend, I wanna have a good time. I plan on going to a vocaloid event, maybe I'll vlog. - Woo, been a long ass ride. Now that I got all that done. I wanna focus on finishing projects and expanding my current media. I wanna start listening to new music artist mainly. I'll be taking my time adding the rest of the nav elements, but I still have interest in them. Besides that spreading the word about my site has been going really well. Lots of cool ass people. - Basically all my main elements are done. The last thing I wanna do is rework the start splash page. I want to move the news section to the splash page but keep the blog section for the main page, so I can just write any personal thoughts or reviews for current media here and keep the two seperate. Plus people can enter when new stuff actually appears. Then I can start uploading projects and getting to work. I still plan on updating the site since it technically isn't fully finished. Just missing the bells and whistles and extra personal stuff but it'll def be on slow down. After the main page I want to work on the husband scrapbook. Which will just be lil shrines and nsfw drawings of fictional men I like. Then after that I basically got everything done. The shrines for games I like can come at any time, and the toybox isn't needed rn since I haven't made any ocs yet. I'm glad I did all this, on a pretty good track so far.

- Added my music and my art portfolio to the nav. (finally!)
- Swapped feb music favs on the main page to the music blog and replaced it with my important vids playlist.

- Got a few things in the works. Now that my work load is lessening I wanna start to shift back to maintaining this site. The main two things I'm eager to get done are the Music and Art Portfolio section. I still gotta maintain the gaming logs because I haven't updated that in a few, but once I finish my few lil projects yall are in for a treat. Stay tune :heart:

- I recently read 'I love amy'. Pretty banger ngl. Solid 4/5 and def a fav of the year. My only issue is, I gotta bump 'Mom, I'm gay' down to a 3/5 after reading this. I think that I found the protags way more interesting in 'I love Amy'. I honestly really do not remember the names of the main protags in 'Mom, I'm gay' but I remember explicitly asking myself what is the male protags flaw(s) that the narrative specifically challanges, and personally coming up with nothing. I actually liked the best friend more, then our main man. Back to the point 'I Love Amy' is for the tumblr bitches that love taking coke and crack (fics in their nogen), but want to explore a lil inside eachother. That aren't afraid to reckon with mental disease being apart of everyday life in our world and their whimsy ass world where being kidnapped is the punchline. tea.

- Lowkey this has been a long ass journey lol. This tired me the fuck out but I'm glad I tried. I've been sick for a bit so that's also why the news/blog seems to have strung along despite me making changes during the time gap.
I think I feel a tiny bit overwhelmed, I'm kinda juggling a lot and preparing for my goals and ideas. This site has been a big hurdle for that, since I wanted a centralized place for the shit I want and enjoy without worrying about too many outside factors or worrying about appeasing a certain type of audience.
Although, one day I would like to break off from neocities and just have my own domain and everything so I can fr live that web 1 "you own everything" type of jush.
I love media, and I wanna continue to explore and make this my little media scape, fantasy, fritos, pretty feet, cpr, moment. Speaking of which, I wanna expand my site to host all my fav media. You'll see that later down the line.
Anyways my next media exploration is music and reading. Now that I'm going less hard on the site, it's the perfect time. I also wanna try and make my own music butt we shall see idk.

- Woo, a lot has changed. Been in a hunker down mood.

- Home page is fully complete. I have all the features I wanted, and I think it looks great without being too wonky. It'll fucking do.
- The gaming section under gaming logs in the nav menu now works. The other buttons still do not work. I focused on the gaming logs first since giving each of my niches a themed page can take a bit. Next button I will implement will be my portfolio.
- Added Wow Acsension to my gaming logs. You can also click on it in current media.
- Added 'High School Boy' to want to read


02/05/25:

- Lowkey I'm thinking of playing city of heroes again.

- Now I can actually focus on the community section. Then the main page will be done (besides filling in the info). This has def been a journey but it seems I'm getting the hang of things. We'll see later today.

- Reformatted almost all elements to somewhat fit other resolutions
- Took out the chat box, since I felt like it was a bad idea letting randoms vandalise my page. If you want to send any messages use my guest book or aim. If anything you can also just ask for the discord (ChivaNet/retroaol on github).

02/04/25:

- Next step is a community section. Then the main page is basically done.

- Finished youtube embed. Made it a recommendation section for accessibility sake since someone brought it up. Also figured out that apng is a thing so added a lil maple story ref.

- I def want to dedicate more time to learning html, javascripting has def stumped me in terms of my limits and I've only been learning html for like maybe 2 or 3 weeks but it's not an excuse to fail neow :salute:.
Also If you scroll in the current media tab you can see I finished 'Mom, I'm gay' by Boreum. Pretty good overall! There's a lot to cover, but I think it does a good job of covering this specific perspective.

- Added background music, but autoplay is disabled until I can get the volume lowered automatically. I think it looks great tho,just gotta adjust the size so raven isn''t getting covered lol
- Added Music and reading Section in current media
- Extended navigation bar and added link names (links not implemented yet)
